McSwain Guitars is a very small, private Portland USA based company, founded by Stephen McSwain. No mass production; McSwain Guitars are all "Custom Shop ordered" built. His guitars are a mix between art and guitar, or as McSwain himself calls it: functional art.
A true creative, Mcswain's enthusiasm and passion for his craft is nothing short of infectious.
McSwain Red White & Bullets SM-1
Wow! Another fabulous McSwain Red White & Bullets just arrived. The Red White & Bullets was born out of McSwain’s desire to see a guitar with an American flag that actually looked cool. Starting with painted and distressed Aluminum fastened it to the top of the guitar. The stars are cut from an aluminum plate and “riveted” with .357 magnum shell casings. It also features a mahogany body and neck, ebony fretboard bound with aluminum star inlays, custom made gear and bullet knobs, and custom wound Arcane humbuckers.

The StaCool series is inspired by the 1930s-era oil cans back when cool designs ruled the day. With authentic hex bolt inlays and lug nut knobs, this guitar is as comfortable in a body shop as it is on stage. The “KEEPS THE MOTOR COOL” light box glows when the lug nut tone knob is pulled up. This guitar absolutely RIPS!!!

Wow! We don't get many Pre-Owned McSwain's in. This one plays amazing and is in excellent condition. McSwain's Campo Santos is pure rock 'n roll anti-establishment! Gorgeous mahogany outlined by .357 magnum bullets casings. The Campo Santos has on old world feel with a new world sound. Aircraft aluminum skull and cross bones matched with crossbone fret inlays.

This Mcswain Campo Santos SM-Jr features a carved top mahogany body, a three-piece mahogany neck with aluminum bound ebony fretboard. The body’s worn finish is riveted with .357 bullet shells. The Skull & Bones emblem is carved from aluminum plate as well as the fret markers. It is loaded with Arcane pickups, and has two volumes and one tone knob made from .357 shell casings. Finished off with Kluson Deluxe vintage tuners and a TonePros bridge.
