The Yellow Performance CR is designed for discerning players who prioritize stage performance, maximum playing comfort, and the most natural amplified tone. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected western red cedar, valued for its warm, rich tone, immediate response, and strong sensitivity to the player’s touch, all further enhanced by our innovative individual soundboard voicing process.
The back and sides are crafted from Indian rosewood, a tonewood prized for its deep bass response, rich overtones, and exceptional tonal complexity. Together, these materials produce a full, expressive sound with warm lows, well-defined mids, and smooth, singing highs, offering excellent responsiveness and balance across the entire tonal spectrum. This makes the instrument equally well-suited for strumming, flatpicking, fingerstyle playing, and solo performance.
